1) Idylls of the King is a story about the fall of King Arthur's rule. In the beginning everything seems fine. The knights are chivalrous, people are content, wives are moral - but as we got deeper into the story, it became obvious that it was a pretense. The queen is having an affair with Lancelot (Arthur's trusted knight and aquaintance), knights ignore their oaths, women use men, and the king's subjects go against him. Arthur eventually finds out about lance and the queen and the two flea -lance to France and Guinevere to a nunnery. Arthur is killed in the end and Guinevere later feels guilty and becomes top nun or whatever to make up for her wrong doings
