This is a collage of the works of the Renaissance painter Titian. Born around 1490, Titian was a young painter from Venice with a fascination with the Roman goddess Venus. As prevalent throughout his works, he had a great interest in the female figure and Venus. His first major work "Assumption of the Virgin" (bottom right corner, faded) was commissioned by the church Santa Maria Gloriosa in Venice. Titian himself made many nudes, especially of Venus. As nude paintings were a new style of painting and not very approved of by the church, most of Titians work may appear Pagan in nature. However he still did a lot of works for churches in his life.
