The Koryo Dynasty 935-1392

Like many other dynasties in Asia at the time, the Koryo dynasty adopted a Tang model of bureaucracy and many other Chinese traits of culture from the Han which they later expanded upon.

This is the Koryo form of writing. The Koryo writing system was dirived from the Han system after they were taken over by the Han. They adopted other traits such as Confucianism, political institutions, and agriculture methods as well, later expanding upon those ideas.

Many Buddhist texts were reprinted in the Koryo dynasties, usually on wood blocks like these.

After being invaded by the Han dynasty, they adopted much of its culture, like their agriculture methods.
