Mother to Son
In this poem, the mother is teaching her son a life lesson
In the poem it stated, Well, son, I’ll tell you Life for me ain’t been no crystal stair. It’s had tacks in it, And splinters, And boards torn up, And places with no carpet on the floor
In the end she just wants her son to know that he should never give up no matter what. He should always to push to do his best. She wants him to know that he may hit rough spots in life, no ones life is perfect, everyone is going to hit hard times but its just a part of life for everyone. Life can be like a staircase, it has its ups and downs but thats just how life works.
