Launched as an experiment, Red Bull assisted skydiver, Felix Baumgartner jump from 24 miles above the Earth. They claim to have done this not as an advertisement but as an experiment.

Daring Stunt Attracted Publicity

The stunt was so daring and out of the world that Red Bull gained a lot of publicity through the stunt, since they helped make the stunt possible.

Baumgartner going on the news, shows how much a big deal his stunt was. This daring stunt gained so much publicity for Red Bull since many were interested, like CBS.

Actions Above Words

Unlike most companies, Red Bull did not talk about itself,it went out an did something. The actions that it took show something different and groundbreaking in advertising.

Red Bull just went out and helped the stunt happen rather than advertising. They did an action not really much talking on Red Bull's part but the experiment helped their sales hugely.

The Future

The webcast racked up 52 million views. This lets Redbull know that views on future campaigns will blow up and they know that it's a good idea to start producing more live-streaming videos to advertise their product.

This is another campaign for example, of Travis Pastrana jumping a car over a large body of water, emphasizing to its consumers that RedBull takes you to new levels.

For a company that's about an energy drink. Them advertising on sports is what you're supposed to do. And this one thing got so much attention because no one has ever done it.

This add is very memorable because of what it does so it gives a very good image for red bull which will make them look like they re great

If this campaign were to be brought back, maybe they conduct anither experiment or stunt on a more dangerous or exciting stunt to gain more viewers who would be interested.

The way the campaign promoted was really smart because people will forever remember Redbull now. If I were to bring this back, I would do another dangerous stunt and make a vine of it too. Lots of people love vine and I think the target market would love to repost the ad.

I personally loved this genius and innovative way of advertising. This advertisement is very similar to the go pro advertisements. Both advertisements showcase the products by showing shots of people filming themselves doing extreme stunts.

I still remember when this stunt happened and whenever it comes up, the red bull logo pops into my head too. This shows how effective this campaign was.
