Physical Therapy

by: Mary Ruth Tucker

Physical therapists are professionals who work with people who are recovering from an injury or have some sort of disability. They also examine and evaluate the patient to see what they need to do to help them get better. Physical therapists usually have to work all day (7:00 am-6:00 pm) to help their patients.

In 2012 the starting salary for a physical therapist was $50,000 to $82,000. If you have been working as a physical therapist for 20 years or more you would probably make about $55,00 to $97,00. You have to have a doctoral or a masters degree to be a physical therapist. This would take about 2 1/2 to 3 years to complete.
