"I Have a Dream Too!"

By: Amega Newton

I have a dream that one day this nation will not be know n as the home of the free and judgmental.

I have a dream that one day children will learn at a young age not to label people.

I have a dream that one day each student can bring their own originality into school without being judged.

I have a dream that people will be evaluated on character and not their appearance like Dr. Martin Luther King said in his “I Have A Dream” speech.

I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day money will not determine who you will marry or develop relationships with.

I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day parents will not worry about how bad the world may be when their children grow up.

This is my hope and faith. With this faith we will be able to create a world of peace and unity.

This will be the day when the bank of self righteousness becomes bankrupt and man is truly united as one.
