Yes we can.
Barack Obama changes the world
Barack Obama is the 44th President of the United States since January 20, 2009. On this date, the US nation turned their backs on the past slavery and segregation. He is from the Democratic Party. Obama is born in Honolulu, Hawaii. He graduated from the Columbia University and Harvard Law School where he was the president of the Harvard Law Review. He after also was a teacher at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004.
On this precise date, January 2009, he began to change the world (or at least, he tried to change the United States of America).
''If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible; who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time; who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer.''
During his two terms, he offered the Obamacare, he called for equality for the LGBT Americans and he lowered the workforces in Afghanistan. But first, he was the first Black American President. He moves me only by his speech. I am not interested a lot in politics, but just listening to his speeches is amazing. It is also amazing to look at where he started. He was raised with the help of his grandfather, who served in the army, and his grandmother, who made her way from a secretarial pool to a manager in a bank. He went to college because of scholarships and student loans. He succeeded by making his way in life and by being persevering. He inspires me because even if people criticize him, he continues to move on with his work. Some people thought he would never do it, but he said: ‘’Yes we can’’.
