Alzheimer is a disease where the person who has it loses there memory . Alzheimer was discovered in 1907 by Alois Alzheimer. He discovered it when he had a patient that was losing her memory. When the patient passed away he examined the body and discovered the disease. It wasn't considered important until the 1970's.Some symptoms of the disease are memory loss,difficulty doing tasks with steps,hallucinations,and impulsive behavior. In America 5.3 million people have Alzheimer and more woman are affected than men because they live longer.Chromosome 21 is defective.
