Prevention: To prevent from getting hurt during a winter storm you could dress warm, stay inside for heat and protection, eat enough to make sure if you do go outside then you don't get cold really, really quickly, make sure you have milk, bread, and eggs especially before the storm hits. I would dress warm, turn the heat on, watch the weather channel to know what all was going on and how bad it is. I would also eat hot foods to help keep me warm.
