Rosa Parks

If I can sit down for freedom you can stand
up for children -Rosa Parks

Rosa Parks was born on February 4, 1913. She was important because, she was the first black women to refuse to move to the back of the bus for a white person. When she did that she had to pay consequences. She was arrested for violating the laws for segregation. This happened on December 1, 1955. It was a big step in the civil right movement to get segregation out of public places.

I agree with Rosa Parks. I wouldn't have moved to the back of the bus. First, It's wrong because it doesn't matter if your race. She was very determined to refuse to move to the back of the bus for a white man, knowing that she was going to go to jail for it. I would have did the same thing Rosa Parks did. I would have suffered consequences. Only because somebody would do something about segregation, because taking out of public places. Rosa Parks was a brave women!
