Some popular foods in Argentina are beef, chimicharri sauce often served with meat, carbonda soup, and chorizo, a spicy sausage. Also milanesa a thin breaded meat, Argentinean pizza, media luna or a Italian croissant. Some popular drinks include wine, coffee, yerba mate and coconut lemonade.
FIFA World Cup
The FIFA World Cup:
The FIFA World Cup is a worldwide soccer tournament where different countries play a soccer game and the winner continues on to play in the next game. This year Argentina made it to the finals where they lost 2-4 against Germany. In previous years they won in the years 1986 and 1978, they were runner ups in the years 2014, 1990 and 1930. In my opinion the FIFA World Cup is a large part of Argentinean culture, but not only the FIFA World Cup but soccer in general, as well. Soccer has been played in Argentina since the 1860's.
