Born in a Chicago Hermosa community to a Irish-Canadian Father and a German-English descant mother, Walt only had one brother name Roy Disney. He started his artistic ideas in high school doing their newspaper cartoon section. He had his first child to Lillian Bounds in 1933 named Diane Marie Disney. But when they first shot for their first child she had a miscarriage. He graduated from Chicago Academy of Fine Arts.
Some of Walt Disney's greatest works are Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Cinderella, The Jungle Book, Alice in Wonderland, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. On July 17, 1955 Walt Disney opened the famous Disney Land for all people to come and enjoy, In his remaining days Walt Disney developed a tumor in his left lung and was said to have six months to two years to live after it was removed. Him and his wife spent their time in Palm Springs, California. On November 30, 1966 he collapsed at home and was rushed to the house later to find he had developed lung cancer. Then on December 15, 1966 ten days after his birthday he passed away at the age of 65 at 9:30am. His brother later became head of the company in October 1971. Later making a memorial for his brother called the Walt Disney World Resort.
