Codominance  caused by two dominate traits
By Brayden Howard

Definition- a situation when two different alleles are both expressed.

These are both heterozygous individuals that express there traits at the same time

Codominance occurs when the contributions of both alleles are visible in the phenotype

The alleles coexist in the same phenotype

when the two colors make a hybrid color which is either a mix of color or on color between the two

This is a chicken that is one of the best examples of codominance

one parent is black and one is white so the chick would be checkered

This is most common in plants and animals on hair or petal color.
