Rice grows best at warm climates, the temperature at least has to be 75 degrees. Full sun all day minimum of 6 to 8 hours.

The depth of the plant is 1 1/2 or 3 inches into the ground as long as tho the roots touch the soil. The row spacing is 6 to 8 inches and seed spacing is 20 inches apart. It takes 110 to 150 days to germinate.
