George Washington Carver

Peanut Scientist

We enjoy many things because of George Washington Carver's contributions. He taught farmers to grow peanuts instead of cotton because cotton didn't grow well and peanuts were healthier. He created many items from peanuts including cheese and ink. George Washington Carver  also made many things from sweet potatoes including glue, molasses, and rubber. He also produced staples for flour and sugar from sweet potatoes.
