Oprah Winfrey

The Transcendetalist Oprah Winfrey is today.
“If you want to accomplish the goals of your life. You have to begin with the spirit” – Oprah Winfrey. Oprah had a rough life. Oprah had said she was raped at age nine by her cousin, uncle, and a family friend. She became pregnant at age 14; shortly after the pregnancy her son had died. Later after that she started her job in radio while she was still in high school. She finally ended up getting her own production company. “By the mid-1990s, she had reinvented her show with a focus on literature, self-improvement, and spirituality.” Oprah is a transcendentalist individual by remaining to be an individual. Oprah Winfrey has a lot of confidence in herself. She has been through a lot and she has never given up on herself. She came from stealing money for her mother to becoming one of the richest African Americans in the world. “In the 20th century Oprah was listed as the most influential woman and the most influential black person of her generation.” She became nothing, to the top alpha female in the country, she is a straight ahead success story says Maureen Dowd. Her confidence in herself has become phenomenal. Oprahs way of free-thought is to meditate. Twenty minutes in the morning and twenty minutes at night Oprah gives herself of some quiet time. “Oprah says the results have been awesome. Better sleep, improves relationships with spouses, children, and coworkers, She also says it helps with migraines.” “When you’re meditating your finding the fullest expression of you”. Meditating is reducing your stress. Meditating is a great way to release everything. According to Oprah the importance of nature is stepping outside and feeling the sun on your skin, hearing the birds chirp, having the wind blow through your hair. Sitting inside and watching TV all day is not good. It’s not showing the importance of nature. “Studies say that people who walk outside, instead of an indoor treadmill has more experienced positive emotions, perceived less exertion and has a faster pace.” Oprah is one of the transcendentalists of today.
