Robert Boyle

Richard Towneley and Henry Power, two of Robert Boyle's friends, discovered the relationship between pressure and volume within gas. They opened Boyle's eyes to new possibilities. Boyle then did experiments to test the pressure and volume. The popping of a balloon is an example of Boyle's law. When you squeeze the balloon, you are trying to reduce the volume of the gas inside and you are making the pressure higher.
