networks

the network I recommend is the Ring network because one of the reasons is that it performs better than the bus network under the heavy network load. the devices are easy to access to the token and also the opportunity to transmit. each device also can connect to its neighbour and really easy to install, reconfigure by adding and removing the devices that will require moving two connections.

I recommend client server because  the clients will be able to communicate better with the servers, for example if the clients sends a server a request, the server can then respond to it and also you can stall all the data on the server so its easier to find.

I Recommend Hub& Switch for the network components, Hub is a device that's good at splitting a network connection into multiple computers. if a computer requests information from any network or any other specific computer it will then send the request to the hub through the cable. later on it will receive the request and then transmit to the entire network.

switch is quite similar to hub in a way but its built in with advanced features, the switch will use physical devices addresses in each messages they get, so then it can deliver the message to the right destination or port. also when the switch connects the source and destination it will increase the speed of the network. both hub and switch are very useful for the receptionist as so they can have a good network connection to being able to pick up calls.

1. cannot connect to the internet from the guest operating system

2. your Ethernet controller drivers aren't installed

3. the virtual machine does not have network connectivity

4.your virtual machine that doesn't have a IP address, (bridged, host only or NAT networking fails.)

5. you see red X over the network connection icon in system tray

these are all problems which are network issues, it can effect the receptionist as well as she/he will need internet connection for online chats and to check her emails. if a person wants to get in touch with the receptionist and cant go in person they will need to do it online for example Skype, so the receptionist will need the network to be up and running so they can do their job.

the recruitment agency need to make sure of the following-

1. need to make sure you have a computer that has a working network connection.

2. need to confirm and make sure that the virtual machine firewall is not blocking the internet access.

also if you turn your firewall off it could lead your computer to open attack.

3. confirm and make sure your virtual machine anti- virus program isn't blocking the internet access, if you're stuck go to  the help menu of the anti- virus program or see the manufacturer documentations for instructions on configuring correctly.

4. run all the anti - virus scan on your computer, to check if there isn't any viruses that could cause anything and if it might interfere with your internet connection

5. try ensure that your network adapter is enabled.

so for all the recap the ring network was in my opinion the best option for a topology for the recruitment agency as they will be all able to communicate to each other. that includes client server where you can get in touch much quicker. which leads to the troubleshooting and being able to cope by sorting your computer internet connection.

Software Licenses

software licenses are basically an agreement that will grant the uses for the software codes for someone else.  the licenses will grant less rights than a sale that will have a copy of the software.  also whatever software you're using, make sure that you agree the terms of the license and that the company you agreed with hasn't pirated the software as you could get in deep trouble.

the types of licenses-  Open Source-  Open source is like a free software if I have to put it in a way,  it is a non profiting organization that can be able to download multiple times.

Single License - Single License is also a free software but the single license software will only allow one person to have access to the software.  so whoever has the access to the software he can only install it onto his computer then it will be no longer useable.

Multi- User- this is like a term that defines a operating system or a application software.  limited licence-  a limited licence is a software that is only intended for non- commercial use of a program. this type of software can be intended for multiple person use, but then it is limited to the certain amount of users that are using it at the same time. some company's might feel generous and hand out trial versions for the operating system,

The software I recommend you for your company is Multi- User, this is because it allows access for multiple users and for a company that has more than one user, this software is the most helpful.

benefits of software registration

I recommend you get the trial version so you can see what the software is like and if you like it. it would be the best option as making a decision to get the full version, I think it would be pointless to download the software then ending up deleting it. but the trial versions may only be accessed for certain amount of days which means you can't waste no time deciding whether you want the software or not.

benefits of installing software

one of the benefits of installing software is that you might be able to do something that you couldn't do before and something you could do more efficiently for example it will be a lot faster which is a bonus as it wont slow your computer down and it will also be higher quality. so if the hardware of the computer system been upgraded then you can install new software.

impact of software installation

one of the impacts are that it can give your computer a virus and then your computer wont be useful.

another impact is that it could take lots of your hard drive space which means you wont have as much space left to put any information or your work onto your hard drive.

third impact is that sometimes a certain software might not go well with other software's for example two anti virus software's might not work well together  and this problem could slow your computer down.

also if you install any software, you will need to make sure that you have the resources for it as if you don't it could slow your computer down and might cause problems.

receptionist feedback

this is the Questionnaire that we did for the receptionist and got some feedback in return.
