In Your Short Story......
This is a revising and editing chart. It tells you what revising and editing is and it tells pros and cons of each.
You will need to have dialogue that's important to your story.
You will need to have varied dialogue tags: Sally said, Joe Replied, Bob yelled.
You will need to have transition words that move the story from one event to the other.
You will need descriptive details, describing what the characters look like and what the setting is so the reader doesn't get bored.
You need to have a Climax: the point in the story at which the character changes. You need to have ALL the stages of plot: Exposition: introduces the character the setting and the conflict(s), Rising action, Climax, Falling action, and Resolution.
Last but not least, you need to be CREATIVE!!!!
