In the book Charlie Joe Jacksons guide to not reading. Charlie Joe runs in to a big problem he has been forced to either ace his grades or go to reading camp. So in every class he's been getting wrapped up into a lot of stuff he has to do. My opinion is that he should continue getting extra credit to bump up his grade. Lately he has been rallying on his friends to help him study for classes. one of the extra credit assignments was for him to dress up as a fox hunter and be painted outside adjacent to the soccer field that was in use. That was a big embarrassment for him.

You have some really important ideas in your summary, but you are also missing some key ones that would help a reader understand what Charlie Joe is facing. Did he get some bad grades on his report card? I can't imagine that his parents are forcing him to get straight A's. Why did he have to be painted as a fox hunter? That does seem like it would be embarrassing. What do you think of Charlie Joe? What do you think of his choices? He has had to rely on his friends before. Are they still interested in helping him? What do you think of the book so far? Would you recommend it? Also, check the title in your response. I think you meant Guide to Extra Credit. :) Watch capitalization and check for complete sentences.

In my book Charlie Joe Jacksons Guide to Extra Credit he is being forced to do the play for extra credit. He needs this extra credit so he can get straight A's. His mom and dad wants him to get straight A's so he doesn't have to go to a reading camp over summer break. My opinion on that is that even know he did not get good grades last quarter. He should not be punished this hard. This is supported by the text by them saying what i am saying. From all this i think that he is representing some one he knows personally and making a story of it. In conclusion the whole extra credit thing is not working to well so stay tuned for next time.
