How to get fresh with spring fashion
Ready to have a spring fling?
There's no better way to leap into the freshness of the season than with a fashion tune-up. And area boutiques and department stores are more than ready to help you meet the challenge.
After all, shopping for spring can be a fun opportunity to add some zing with the use of some of the newer trends coming into flower.
Fashion trend watchers will see looks that are fresh, feminine and floaty. Familiar classics like gingham and florals will be seen in updated versions, particularly different color combinations. And fashionistas will notice trends that include pants with more leg room and the continuation of '70s-inspired touches such as fringed trims and accessories, bell bottom pants and cropped tunic tops.
Ashley Schafer of Marlton-based Schafer Image Consulting, said the key for spring will be to find the right balance between what you have and what works for your body and your personal style from the new trends.
