I can use tackk as an exit ticket for my students to communicate their new learning at the end of a lesson.

The Readability App takes the clutter from webpages which will make it easier for my students to read the article. I also liked the Announcify App which reads out loud the entire page. This can help with differentiation to meet the needs of all the students.

The AdBlock App is extremely helpful to students and educators. The students won't be preoccupied with ads that always seem to "pop" up. As a teacher, AdBlock decreases the concern of students viewing inappropriate things.

A few things that I learned from the conference and plan on using with my students are the apps that you can download from Chrome. The three apps that I am most excited to use are the Read & Write, Read Comfortably, and One Tab. The Read & Write app will be extremely useful for students when they are using their Chrome Books to do research because all students, regardless of reading level, will have audible access to the information. The Read Comfortably app is something that I foresee using quite a bit because I plan on using expository and supplemental readings from the internet to help enhance my students’ learning about a given topic. It would also be helpful when sharing articles from the Internet on the Promethean board since the app would allow me to just show the article and not all the extra stuff that inundate webpages and may not be appropriate for students. The One Tab app is something that I will use for when my students need to use various webpages. Not only will this app allow me to monitor and guide what resources my students can use on the internet, but it also will give my students some independence on the internet without just letting them loose on the internet.
