Republican Senators Send letter to Iran denouncing Obamas ath purity to make deals about nuke capabilities

Mitch McConnell The writer of the letter to Iran

The president, Barrack Obama entered into negotiations with officials from Iran regarding nuclear weaponry. Then a group of 47 seven republicans sent a letter directly to Iran saying that the result of these negotiations would be overturned by congress or by the next president. The letter was writen by Republican Mitch McConnell. The letter was worded very harshly and many think that this could have been handled in a less aggressive more gentle fashion. I think that there may be repercussions from both Iran and Obama directed towards the republicans.

in an interveiw with Shane Smith Obama said this. Regarding the 47 Republican Senators who signed a letter to Iran criticizing the president’s nuclear deal proposal, Obama told Smith: “I’m embarrassed for them.” He continued:

For them to address a letter to the Ayatollah — who they claim is our mortal enemy, and their basic argument to them is ‘Don’t deal with our president because you can’t trust him to follow through on an agreement’ — that’s close to unprecedented.
