Ebola is spread through bodily fluids such as blood, saliva, or mucus membranes. This says that the country is poor and they have a low amount of people their that work in the medical field.

A lot of money would have to be spent to find a cure and prevent the disease. Organizations would close in the country to get away from disease and stuff.

Countries wouldn't want to come in contact with the infected country. This would cause less trade, less help for war or preparations.
