What Bugs Me
Shining A Light to Students in the Classroom
Students who don't work to their potential -
Never settle for less than your best.
Students who take the easy way out -
There is no growth where there is no struggle. Be courageous.
Students who don't work hard -
See the value in how working hard produces great things later on. What you sow is what you reap.
Students who don't listen -
There is a difference between hearing and listening. Listen to understand.
Students who waste time -
Everyone is given 24 hours in day and you only get today once. Value it.
Students who turn in things late -
Early is on time, on time is late, and late is unacceptable.
Students who put others down -
Choose to be kind. Most people are fighting harder battles you don't even know about.
Students who don't try -
Do or do not. There is no inbetween. Always choose do. You'll probably surprise yourself.
Students who don't see the unlimited learning opportunities around and available to them -
Seize life. Go for it. Don't waste away.
Students who don't maximize their time -
By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.
Students who think they deserve things just because -
The world does not owe you anything. Have this attitude and you will appreciate a lot more things.
Students who are not thankful -
The more thankful you are the more humble you are. Count your blessings. You'll be surprised how much happier you'll be after that.
Students who don't smile -
Smile. It does a body good.
Students who can't laugh at themselves -
Never take yourself too seriously. Laughing is a part of life.
Students who don't attack the day -
Each day is gift. You don't get another one. Make today awesome.
Students who don't dance -
If you can't dance through life you need to find a new beat.
Students who don't get to know one another -
Life is meant to be shared and experienced together. Share your passions, dreams, and also your failures. Get to know people.
Students who don't grow as people -
Become better than you were yesterday. Improve daily.
Students who don't see that there are always two sides to everything -
Choose to focus on the positive. It will make you stand out.
