A paramedic is an professional whose primary focus is to provide advanced emergency medical care for critical and emergent patients who access the Emergency Medical System (EMS). This individual possesses the complex knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care and transportation.
Job qualification/ Abilities
Troubleshooting- Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it. Helping people and animals in need at a fast speed.
Active Listening-Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Operation Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
The responsibilities for this job are to be caring, you need to listen and be patient.
EMT-B is the most basic training and usually takes about 6 months to complete and you need to do 120 to 150 hours of training
You need to be upbeat and caring
You need to be able to work in stressed situations because it can very stressful
You need to be able to stay calm
