Homo Sapiens Neanderthalsis
The "Wise Man" is a nickname for hominid Homo Sapiens Neanderthalensis. The wise man lived from 200,000 to 28,000 years ago. The Wise Men made 60 different kinds of tools. Some examples of the tools are knives, spears and scrapers. They were the first to hunt in an organized group. Five things that described them were that they were tall, they had long head hair, a lot of facial hair, large brains and a ridge above their eyes. They cared about each other so much that when they died, they were buried in burial mounds with their tools and flowers.
This picture shows a map of Africa which was one of the three places that the Homo Sapiens Neanderthals group lived. The other 2 places are Europe and Asia. They were discovered by workers in Germany's Neander Valley.
