Michelangelo's "David" is most known for its immense amount of detail; right down to the veins on the arms. The face portrays a certain amount of thoughtfulness.
His painting on the Sistine Chapel also has an incredible amount of detail, and it contains over 300 figures.
Michelangelo set high standards for painting and architecture during his time in the Renaissance. He had a huge influence on art culture later in time. His works are located in Italy; mostly in Rome and Florence.
