"Slam Dunk"

at&t is making its shared-data family plans a lot more appealing. The carrier is slashing the price of Mobile Share Value plans that come with 10GB or more of data. at&t has introduced what it calls the “best-ever prices” for people on its Mobile Share plans, wanting a family-size bucket of data and unlimited talk and text. at&t says a family of four can now get unlimited talk and text, and 10GB of data for $160 a month. Though partly aimed at new potential customers, the deal also allows existing at&t customers to save money as well. The intended audiences are family of 4 or more.

at&t uses well-known celebrities or people to bring out their message for their family plans. In the advertisement, Grant Hill, an NBA basketball star, comes to at&t store to purchase a family plan for his family. He is surprised to find out that a family of four can now get unlimited talk and text, and 10GB of data for $160 a month. The producers of the advertisement target families who have more than 2 children. It is a good deal for an extend family and a great way to pay the bill at once. It requires less hassle and saves money and time for the consumers from paying individually.

at&t does not use Popular Culture as much as other brand or companies do to showcase their products. The company boardcasts their commercials using famous people to engage in the tactic of gaining new customers while holding firm onto the old ones with their new products/ideas
