Sweets may be tasty and delicious but they are deadly poison. According to Dr. Quanhe Yang "The risk of cardiovascular disease death increases exponentially as you increase your consumption of added sugar". The American Heart Association recommends no more than 100 calories a day from added sugars for women or about 6 teaspoons and men should have no more than 150 or 9 teaspoons, Hershey candy bars are 210 which is more than the recommendation. Rachel Johnson a spokeswomen for the American Heart Association and nutrition professor at the University of Vermont said "Now we know that too much added sugars doesn't just make us fat, it increases our risk of death from heart disease.
